Kenwood KH326 Multi One ticks when running.

I recently worked my Kenwood Multi One a bit too hard, and since then it ticks when I run it. I'm trying to remove the main panel, but I'm finding a bit of resistance. I know that there's a screw to remove, but I'm not sure if the blender driving sprocket needs to come off.

Has anybody done this?

Thanks!

I had same problem with my Kitchen Aid stand mixer and after i took it apart i found a Vinyl gear (sprocket) in the gearing of the machine that is designed to break under to much load. Look into that.
