Laptop overheating even after cleaning and new thermal paste
Boots into windows then shuts down straight away, keeps doing it.
I opened it up, changed the thermal compound and cleaned the heat sink. It lasted 20mins then shut down.
Installed speed fan and its is reading high temperatures.
Fan sounds like it's working overtime and gets very loud.
Last thing I can do is change the fan but is it that?
