Difference "No SIM" and "Searching" problem

Hello

Lately I'm seeing a lot of iPhones with SIM problems, either with "searching" or "no SIM" appearing in the top left corner of the screen.

I wonder what the difference between the two is.

As far as I know "No SIM" means that literally no SIM card is detected in the tray. What does the other one mean and how do they differ.

Thanks in advance guys ! :)

I f iphone is searching then there is a hardware issue and you need to solder the logic board.

Unless simcard reader is damaged on its own, as far as I experienced it really makes no difference, no service or searching or no sim are just different states the phone gets stuck on. They're different faces of the same coin, but they usually point all to a baseband fault.
