Why is my table fan making this wierd noise?
My table fan keeps making this noise (check the link)! How should I fix it?

Sounds as if it's rubbing something, or close enough to make a whistling-type noise. Look at it from the side, and if it's bent out of shape, not parallel to the case. Same with the shaft on the motor.

it doesn't seem as if anything is running against anything, it did stop making the noise suddenly but I will report back when it starts, I have looked at it from the side when it makes a noise but it didn't look like anything was wrong then
