screen locked have tried reboot

my nexus 7 is screen locked what can i do i have tried to reboot with holding down power and volume at same time but when i try recovery mode or restart bootloader nothing happens just get ! no command

Options

Hold down power button and Volume up button for a second or 2 then release Volume up and power. The Recovery menu should appear.

I have done that and still stuck at Google screen...

Did I pick the wrong g option on menu, if reboot the system no response. What next
