Ports on right side of the laptop doesn’t work & wifi not detected

13” Mac pro late 2012 (model A1425)

Drop off from 1.5 feet onto the carpet in flat position

no scratches or appearance damage occur.

But it effect

1. airport module is not detected (wifi no hardware installed error)

2. USB, HDMI & SD card slot on right side of the laptop doesn’t work

I have removed the airport card and installed it again but hardware is still not detected.

I would like to know:

1. It can be fixed only by replacing whole logic board or

2. It could be another minor disconnecting problem* Hit <enter> to insert another list item, and <enter> twice in a row to end the list. To get subitems, repeat the bullet character once for each level of indent you want (e.g. **)

Reseat the I/O cable (which goes from the logic board to the I/O board) and replace this if it is still not working. This commonly goes bad when dropped, and transfers all signals from the side board to the logic board.

Don't replace your logic board; you will have the same issue since it is just the cable :)
