some selected keys don't work, so cannot unlock as D required for password.

thanks, but no. tried taking battery and sim out. read 1,000 comments all require actions that need the screen be unlocked!! found software that promises to unlock the screen at a cost, not so sure/trusting to download and pay overseas site. the letter D and number 4 do not work, maybe others. unluckily D is in the password. it is my wife's phone, so therefore a major crisis! any ideas appreciated, as i struggle with a major disability.
