Home Buton Stop Wporking.

I opened my iphone 3g in an effort of changing my original housing, everything was going according to plan until i realized that my home button stop working. i havent been able to make it work again and to remove the housin you all know that you dont need the touchscreen so i donnt believe i damage it while doing the change...

Are the pins still in tact? If so, then test this assembly into another iPhone. If it dosn't work then it looks like the Home Button needs to be replaced. If it does work, then your Dock Assembly will need to be replaced.
