My display is not powering up

I am told that the problem is with the digitizer. The display will not illuminate, at best sometimes just flickering.

The phone is neither operational nor usable.

I'm looking to have it repaired

Not sure if you're looking to do any repairing yourself, but I would try taking a bush and some isopropyl alcohol and scrubbing the connector for the screen both on the board and the screen before going forward with a screen replacement. If that fails, do a screen replacement.
