@snookman, Thomas, It may be well worth contacting TV repair shop that you dealt with, as the part they replaced may have been faulty and can be warrantied. If the TV can not be fixed under warranty and you are comfortable working with electronics, you may be able to repair the TV yourself. You will need some fairly common tools(screwdrivers/DVOM/possibly soldering iron, flux, solder, etc.), I do recommend you review the more or less generic trouble shooting /repair video links below to see if this a indeed a repair you would like to troubleshoot and try as it does take some skill and understanding of electronics and there are ALOT more repair vids/forums for you to check out by doing a simple search. If it comes down to needing replacement power board you will have to do a search for the board using TV make and model# or perhaps # from the power board(last link may have replacement parts you require). Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

I would take it back and tell him the problem.

A good business man will fix something that they replaced for free, especially since it wasn't too long ago.

If not I would suggest a bad review for that person and report back here then, I will help you figure out what possibly went wrong.
