iPhone 6 strange(?) behaviour
Hi all. I got an iphone 6 which is acting strange. Phone was shutting down in about 10 minutes after a 4 hour charge. Took it to Apple (it was, and is, under warranty) and they said that its a hardware problem and they denied warranty because its slightly bend on the top right corner. Took it back in recovery mode. Connected to a macbook and after a couple of times, i managed to restore it and get it to work. Worked for a while and then it reboot itself and got stuck in Apple logo (restart-apple logo-restart-apple logo...). Took the battery out to reset it, and replaced the battery and the screen (both original). It worked for a couple of hours, but then the same again. Then i disconnected the charging port and the phone worked for longer periods of time. Had it working for 10 hours or so. Replaced the charging port with a new one, and the phone does work longer but it does the same. Works fine and out of nowhere it restarts and gets stuck in the boot loop. After 5-6 or 10 minutes of looping, finally it boots up. Sometimes it boots up fine, sometimes gets stuck in the password screen after i key-in the last digit and then it reboots in the loop. Run out of ideas except replacing the NAND...

Did you try to take out the mother board? Sometimes I find corrosion on components even if they never got liquid on them. Replacing the Nand is much harder to do, start with simple things first.

Ya, next thing to do is that... I found more simple to change screen , battery and charging port because i had them in hand, but since all these things did not do the trick, i will examine the m/b. Thanx!
