Screen Has a bunch of horizontal lines and is flickering?

So, I recently replaced the screen on my iPhone 4. Everything went fine. Then the phone stopped keeping the proper time and would shut down randomly. I have spare parts laying around, so I tried different parts. I have two separate logistic boards and screens - both do exactly this while swapping them and interchanging them. Any reason behind this?

That seems to be a screen cable damage. Look closely for any tear or damage on the cable ribbon or connector

Also check the small components near the battery connector area to see if they got knocked off or damaged. Take a picture if you can near the battery connector components as well.

A knocked off component off these can cause many things especially random rebooting.

Improperly plugged in battery or damaged battery can cause this too.

Flickering is due to iPhone not being shut off properly multiple times and usually goes away over time.

Thank you Oros, I had thought the screen may have been damaged so I bought a replacement for it, lo and behold, it works beautifully now.
