Retina 15'' Cirrus Logic under Windows 10 audio jack output problem
Everything is working fine after installing Windows 10 on MB Pro A1398 2012.
Sound in speakers is clear.
I have a problem with the audio jack output to headphones - when playing a youtube video, voice is not present and there's some kind of codec problem as it adds some distortion to music.
I've had this issue with Windows 10 on my Creative X-FI 5.1 Surround Pro - it would simply not have sound output on voice in movies, the voice in movies would be played from the subwoofer.
Anyone else encountered this issue? It must be software. I disabled any enhancements from Sound in control panel, still, it persists.
It is windows 10 cirrus logic sound driver related, 100%...something to do with the filtering or codecs.
If anyone encountered this one, let me know...
Sound in control panel is set to disable all enhancements... yet it sounds like EAX Creative enhancements gone bad.
If sound set higher then 16 bit 44000 it won't play at all in headphones (?!)...
Is this a good question?
