ahkizi57 you need to provide more information. You did not tell us if your screen is always black or if it shows any sign of life. You say it felt hot but forgot to tell us where it felt hot. If it was all over or only on a particular area. those pieces of information are important. You also want to let us know what you have tried to fix this so we are not wasting your time by telling you something you've already tried.

Start by attaching an external monitor to your computer and see what it shows. It is possible that your memory module may cause this, but there are many more issues that could be at fault.
