@aimee45 could be a power board issue. First you want to check to see if it is your backlight that is out. turn the TV on in a darkened room, then shine a flashlight against the screen and see if you can make out any images etc. Make sure that you are either on a station that has images or that you are on a menu page. If you can than you know that it is your backlight that is out. Could be an inverter issues or the mainboard not telling the backlight to come on. It will all depend on what you find during this stage.Remove the back of your TV and take a look at all the boards. Check for leaking or domed looking caps. Post a couple of images with your question so we can see what you see. Use this guide for that.

A light where do you shine it and does the stainless plate cover the picture? Cause I don't see any ligh coming threw? Is there a fuse and were is the lamp can somebody please help me out with this im a veteran and I really need my ty okay thanks for your help anyway
