Brother Install sheild states no hard disc space available

I have until recently been using my Brother printer with no problems. I had a network problem which I have resolved, but for what ever reason my Printer failed. So I decided as in the past to uninstall the brother printer files and reinstall from their website the Windows 10 64 bit (MFC-5890CN-inst-win8-A1.exe). This EXE file I have used before, and its always got me back up and running. Now when I try and use this same EXE file I get as far as choosing the network USB or Ethernet, and I select Custom Install and it shows my Hard disc as having 0.00MB of space available on the Drive, yet when I use File Explorer it shows my C drive as 345GB free of 465GB (I am using a Samsung SSD 840 EVO 500G Disc) as my C drive.

Why will the Brother installer not find the correct data?

or is this a windows 10 problem?
