Food Shopping Steps don't register
when i go shopping and my hand is on the cart...it doesn't register my steps. What is the work around?

There really isn't.
The only things you could try is either walking with the hand without it on the cart, so only one hand is on the cart, or putting the band in your pocket. There are really no other options.
