Replaced charge port and phone does not pick up signal.

I recently replaced the screen on my s7 edge but damaged the back button light. I ordered a couple charge ports and upon installation it does not pick up any phone signal. I put back the old charge port and it picks up signal right away. Everything is connected properly and also, I did order the correct model. I went through a dozen charge port and some would pick up signal but it would go out later. Just the original charge port will pick up signal and not drop. Can someone tell me what is wrong?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Sounds like the new parts are faulty, either that or you are using the incorrect part. There are several different version of the Galaxy Devices so there are different charging ports depending on the model. The model of your device needs to match with the charging port i.e G935F model phone needs to be replaced with the G935F model charge port.

Hi Ethen,

Actually, it looks like they are faulty parts that are causing it. We have to ordered parts that was original and pulled from the phone rather than ordering the aftermarket ones. Thanks for your input. Much appreciated
