iPhone 6+ screen replacement, now a few things won't work.

Hey guys,

I'm an amateur but I decided to replace my iPhone 6+ screen myself. After doing this my Touch ID doesn't work, my front facing camera doesn't work, and when I'm on the phone with someone I can't hear them unless I put the phone on speaker. When placing the front facing camera, do I have to remove the circular plastic that surrounds the front camera from my old screen onto my new one? And there's a square one surrounding another hole on the front of the screen. Also, apparently the guide I followed to replace the screen did not describe how to remove the home button properly, therefore I may have damaged the Touch ID but I do not understand how I would have because I was very careful. Any suggestions would be super helpful!

Thank you,

Nehemie

Alright. Looks like you need a new front camera flex, it should solve a couple of those problems. As far as Touch ID, you can try to replace the home button Cable on the back of the display shield, if your home button still works and your Touch ID doesn't, then you've lost it

So the clear circular plastic surrounding the front camera on my old screen is not important? And my home button does work, so that means I damaged the Touch ID? I would like you to explain how I damaged or what part I damaged that made touch ID not work

Nah, the clear plastic circle/square trays aren't that big of a deal. Well it'd be hard for me to say. Me not being there and all. If you replace the cable on the shield, and Touch ID doesn't come back. It's lost for good
