Just quit working, won't turn on, even when charged

One day my Kindle just wouldn't come on. Charged it and still wouldn't come on. Any suggestions on what may be wrong?

My kindle stopped working when I put it in contact with my iPad. My new kindle switches on and sometimes freezes off when it comes in contact with my iPad. Why is this?

robertsoned77, The following info. came from reading through other post/links. The Kindle Fire has a tendency to become “stuck,” meaning that it looks like it’s “off” when it’s actually “on” but it will not work properly because it’s locked up. To unlock the Kindle Fire, do a reset by holding down the power button for 20 seconds or more. Then turn the device back on by hitting the power button again. If this doesn’t work the first time, try holding the button down for 30 seconds or more. Most of the time, this will be all you have to do to get the Kindle Fire up and working again. Check the links below for more trouble shooting of the kindle. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
