Can I get instructions for replacing the screen on an Alcatel 5054S?

My Alcatel One Touch 5054S got dunked in water. After 3 days in moisture-sucking rice, I think it still works (for instance, alarms go off - I can even turn them off by swiping the screen in the right spot, and I can connect to a Windows machine and see the drives), but I get no display other than a very faint light.

I've located replacement screens, but those sources cannot furnish screen replacement instructions, and I've been unable to otherwise locate some.

before investing in a new screen lets deal with the moisture damage properly . Get it out of the rice rice is useless . Its a myth it does nothing but adds to the damage the phone has already sustained . Take the phone apart and clean it completely

Clean every connection with a soft toothbrush. As well clean the logic board; use a 99% isopropyl alcohol for all cleaning. Now is the time to start drying out the phone. Set the screen in a desiccant or silica gel leave it in for several days moving it from time to time to get the max effect from the desiccant. Use a blow dryer on a low heat setting to dry the rest of the phone. Only use a hair dryer once you have cleaned the phone completely with the alcohol. Do not attempt to dry the phone if it’s still wet with water with the blow dryer as this only spreads the water. Replace the battery with a new one considers the old ones done. Clean again with isopropyl alcohol let dry and when you think everything is clean and dry reassemble the phone (make sure to clean the contacts on the screen after removing from the desiccant). Once you've reassembled the phone it’s time to power it on. Hold your breath and hope for the best

If the phone does not power on look for burn spots on the board as you may have shorted the phone . It may require further time in replacing blow chips or resistors

Good information, but the phone is already dry and I need specific directions for replacing the screen.

@vtsd The phone can be dry but the corrosion from being wet is what will cause shorts . People believe there phone will be ok once dried out but the reality is thats when the your big problems begin. You need to clean the corrosion . the only way dumping it in water and drying out the phone isnt a problem is if you dropped it in distilled water. Its the minerals in the water that cause the corrosion that kills the phone

If the phone still works, here is a video (in Spanish) for changing the LCD.

This video, if Google Translate is accurate, is for changing the cargo port. I will use it, however, as a lead to see if its producer can give me any leads.

A simple search of the producer's channel turned up a screen replacement vid for a 5054N. Now I just have to find out if it's the same for the 5054S.
