Do I need to replace my LCD or the entire display? (screen flickering)

My cat chewed the upper right corner of my MBP, which is now cracked/punctured on the screen side and outer shell side. The screen is flickering and displaying double images intermittently. Initially, I applied used my thumb to apply pressure to the affected corner which fixed the problem. Then, of course, the cat returned for one more bite while my back was turned and now my pressure-fix is no longer working.

I'm assuming I need to replace the entire display, but thought I'd pose this question just in case I could save a couple hundred bucks.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Maybe you need to spend some more time playing with your cat. It seems to be a jealous mistress.

As to the display, sorry, there'a no repairing it. Replacement is your only option.

To prevent repeated damage, close it up and spray a little of this on the corners: https://www.chewy.com/emmys-best-anti-ch...

Thanks for the speedy reply and for the anti-chew spray recommendation. (Though I'm not sure my cat will thank you for ruining his good fun!)
