How can I clear the icons on my home screen?

I have a new Blu Vivo XL2 and would like to clear the icons on the home screen. When I try the only option it gives me is to uninstall app. Why do I not have the trash bin on my new phone? I want a certain picture for my wallpaper but it cant be see for all the icons. Help please

Options

You could just hold the icon and drag it over another icon to create a folder. Once you do that, all of your apps will be on 1 icon.

And is there a Move App option next to the uninstall option?

My problem too. Phone contacts clutter home screen. Cannot move.

I try to drag off but only option is message/call. How do I clear the screen?
