How to restart iPhone after low temp exposure.
Iphone 4 carried in wife's pocket. Temp near freezing. IPhone4 went dead and will not turn on. What do I do??

Try this, flick the mute switch on the side on and off about 2 times, then holding the top power button and the home button at the same time, with the phone plugged in. Do it until you see an apple symbol. This hard resets it.

you have to hold the buttons for ten sec. !
even a iphone that doesen´t start will do it´s hard-reset.
