R 4 is showing on the screen of my Saeco Incanto De luxe espresso machine. Is this a part needing replaced and am I able to order it ? Or is it beyond repair ?

There's lots of information on repairing this machine but none on error codes that I have been able to find. Please tell us what it's doing or not doing so we can help diagnose your issue.

The water from the geothermal tube started spitting the water out rather than a good flow, went to blowing air instead of steam, than quit. So, it's in ventilate mode, than instructs to turn off.

It's in ventilated mode, which I proceed to do. No water dispenses, starts making a noise, then tells me to shut off.
