MAXPower eSATA 6G Should be driverless but has no drivers :(

Hi there

I've bought Your MAXPower eSATA 6G Pro PCIe Controller Card (2 ports) for my Mac Pro 2008 - it is detected in macOS El Capitan (with all up to date updates) but it is saying..... "No Drivers" in System Report :(

When connected SATA HDD with powered SATA cable - drive is not even spinning (it is 100% working).

It should be driverless - but it has no drivers :(

Thank You :)

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Bart - I think you'll need to talk with NewerTech support folks. You maybe trying to use it in a system which can't support it.

eSATA shouldn't need any drivers as this is nothing more than a SATA board (just has external vs internal connections).
