MacBook Air randomly stopped starting ocassionally

I was really perplexed when two days ago my laptop wouldn't start after I ran it completely out of battery, however, I left it charging and it randomly turned back on the next morning. It had resumed exactly what I was doing when it shut down, I didn't even need to log it.

Today, my laptop ran out of battery again, and I again couldn't get it to turn on, so I left it charging and it randomly resumed where I left off, even playing the video that playing before. And I continued to use it for about an hour before I shut it down.

About an hour later I tried turning back on and it won't come on, I have charged it fully and it still remains off. I have exams this week and really need a laptop, and I have already sent my Torx set home as I pack up so I haven't been able to look inside the laptop. Every time it wouldn't boot I tried PRAM reset, SMC reset and holding control+option+delete+power which is something I found on here, all to no avail each time.

That was the first thing I tried before resetting the SMC/PRAM.

What I have doing this week with the University kids is pulling their hard drives and putting them in external enclosures. so they can use them at the library or boot from them when attached to another Mac. Then after finals we can work on repairs.
