Where can I buy a cheap barebone kit
I need to find a cheap computer barebone kit to build a nicer computer for a amount that will still make me a profit.

I suggest checking out www.tigerdirect.com
Thats where i got my first computer and the prices there are quite cheap.
Www.newegg.com is another option, though a little more

I've looked at tiger direct but I can't seem to find all the parts I need cheap. The last time I built a computer with parts from them it cost $780 and I sold it for $850. That's not a lot to profit.
Well you really can't in this business. I suggest getting really cheap ones that are manufacture built, fix them up and upgrade them and then resell them.
I've never thought of that I might try that I found a newer regular desktop for $150 on Craigslist. Thank you
For $150 you can get a Skylake motherboard+CPU.

Building from scratch is always the cheapest option.
PCpartpicker is always my go to, plus it searches the web for deals, you can save a not insignificant amount if you keep an eye on this list.

Building a laptop from scratch is near impossible and not a good idea.

You can buy everything at B&H for same or better price. That PC is a little better than minimum spec VR.

check out the store on this webiste, ive seen their selection very good prices, I hade bought a nice set for $25 on amazon. Are you building a laptop or desktop? Youll only need a few tools, try your local Dollar store or harware store
