Help with CD drive on iMac G5
Every CD, DVD, Data disc i put into the drive is held for aprox 1 minute, and then ejected.
Can anyone help with a reason & solution to this issue?

The drive is most likely bad and in need of replacement. I've never witnessed a drive that ejects CDs/DVDs recovering from that situation. People will suggest using a lense cleaner, but honestly I think it's a waste of time and I've never witnessed that ever being successful either.
