Why is my android tablet downloading sotware/apps on its own?

Hello,

My tablet appears to have developed a mind of its own. It continuously downloads software/apps when it wants to.

Is this repairable.

I have tried a factory reset.

However as soon as you connect it to the internet. It begins downloading software/apps. This means that it quickly starts stating that he tablet is full.

The apps I haven't even heard of.

Mark Crabtree, You may be able to shut off auto updates and this may solve your issue. Links below will tell/show how to stop auto updates. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

Thank you for answer to my problem.

Have turned off auto updates. Problem still persists. However do not think it is to do with auto updates. Because it is downloading fresh installations of random software.

This problem persists even after I have done a factory reset. The tablet begins downloading new software has soon as internet connection is established.

Is there any way to stop new download.

I personally believe it had a bug/virus.

Thank you.

Hmm. I have never seen this before. I wouldn't think it would be malware, but it's possible.
