No chime, no start

Hi,

I had to open the macbook and removed the keyboard,

since I could not insert the harddrive.

The problem that the glue of the flexible strip one side for the housing of the harddrive

was loosen and the strip blocked the SATA connection.

I fixed that, but then the startup failed.

No chime, and no booting at all.

Battery will be charged, when I plugin the magsafe.

Any ideas

The most common problem when this happens is not getting the keyboard to logic board cable seated (it's very easy to disconnect). See step #12 of this guide:
