Display of message that says 'change the batteries'

My camera keeps displaying a message that says 'change the batteries'. Why is this?

@tyiilliamani, Kenzo , Ensure that the battery contacts are clean and install a new quality set of fully charged batteries and if using rechargeable's have charger tested or try another known good working compatible charger to rule it out as an issue. Possible internal clock battery may be faulty (change internal CR1220 battery) or issue with bad components in camera. Find below links to showing the internal clock battery replacement and partial disassembly guide to enable checking of internal wire connections/components/etc. to check for loose, damage, burnt.
