Best way to repair bent battery prongs?

I recently replaced the ram in my Acer Aspire V5-552p-x404 laptop, and in doing so had to unplug the battery for safety. When plugging it back in, I believe the pins got bent, but can't figure out a good way to either bend them back or remove them if they aren't needed. I've looked online, but haven't found a guide on which pins are needed for the battery to function properly within the laptop. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this or know which pins are needed to function properly?

Your best bet is to carefully bend the pins back in place.

All pins are needed. Some are power, some are ground and others are for the control circuits to make sure all cells in the battery are properly charged.
