Replaced Screen and Digitizer and Phone wont unlock.

I replaced the LCD Screen with Digitizer ( Ifixit) Phone powers up but I still can't slide the unlock soft key. Does not appear to be responsive to touch.

Options

Either the digitizer cable is loose, or the touch IC went bad. In case one, simply re-seat the digitizer connector. Case two is a bit worse. I assume @refectio would know more about that.

Thanks George. You're right, it's probably just the digitizer connector although as a second option I would think it may be a bad screen. iFixit stands behind their products so if you can confirm that the screen is defective, they will replace it.

If re-seating the connectors doesn't work, then try to put back the old, cracked screen. If touch works on the old one, that eliminates the IC's and your problem is likely a bad screen.
