No WiFi, no audio but I can play music on a bluetooth speaker

MacBook Pro 15.4 Intel Core 2 Duo 2007 (Santa Rosa)

My MacBook Pro 15.4 Intel Core 2 Duo from 2007 is awaiting a screen replacement which I have already received. Using an external monitor I now find that there is no WiFi (no hardware installed), no audio (no output or input devices shown), the left side USB port does not work nor does my SD card reader which is also on the left side of the computer.

What do I need to do to rectify this when I open my machine to replace the screen?

Update (05/12/2017)

The screen has deteriorated over time, I knew that I would have to replace it eventually. I don't use the computer much these days, mainly for playing music and as a library for old files.

There has been no accident with spillages of liquids, when the screen finally went I did not have an external monitor available but recently I acquired one and then I discovered the other failings.

What occurred before this? Any liquid? When did this occur?

I say that its dying and its not worth putting money in. Just copy your music and files off incase of when it dies. as for the issues and how to fix them, @danj or @mayer should have some insight on whats going on

Hopefully you got the complete lid assembly Vs the discreet LCD panel MacBook Pro 15" (Model A1226) Display Assembly To start things off it sounds like your WiFi & Bluetooth cables are worn. A new lid assembly will resolve this. Here's the IFIXIT guide to help you in the task: MacBook Pro 15" Core 2 Duo Models A1226 and A1260 Display Assembly Replacement

I'm not sure what is going on with your audio from your description. You could have a bad connection between the I/O board or the jack is damaged. Here's the IFIXIT guide to replace the I/O board: MacBook Pro 15" Core 2 Duo Models A1226 and A1260 Left I/O Board Replacement

Sadly your system is on borrowed time here ;-{ I'm amazed its still working!

I wouldn't spend to much here trying to keep it running. Between the lack of OS & app support and the fact the HD and other parts that just wear-out its days are numbered.

I strongly recommend you don't connect to the internet as Apple no longer offers OS updates to protect your system from the nasties lurking out in the big web.
