Screen won't let me type any thing plus now the zoom icon is constantly on the screen! I restored it through itunes and backed up all my data.... Screen at first said phone was disabled....ready to return screen if not fixed!!!

I would return it, sounds like it was faulty.
Contact where you bought it and tell them the issue and see if they will send you a new one.
