My Screen has frozen on "Connect to stuff that counts"

Try performing a hard reset to see if this resolves the problem.

Be aware that a hard reset will erase all your data and downloaded apps. it will restore the phone to its' factory default condition. It will be like when you first bought it (or last successfully updated it to).

Before performing a hard reset ensure:

a) that the battery is fully charged

b) the charger is not left in when resetting

c) the external SD Card (if any) is removed.

Here is the procedure:

Press the Power button to switch off the phone.

Hold down the Volume Up + Power buttons simultaneously for a couple of seconds.

You should see the Recovery Mode menu on the screen.

Release the buttons

Select "wipe data/factory reset" by using the Volume Down to navigate and the Power button to confirm.

Select "Yes--delete all user data". Use Volume Down button to scroll and Power button to select.

To restart the phone, select "reboot system now".

Be patient, it takes a little while for the reset to complete.
