iPod will not function on battery only
my ipod works on the docking station and plugged in to the computer but will not work on just the battery ipod says battery is charged what is the problem

So it turns on when not plugged in and you see the battery indicator showing full? Or it says full while plugged in? Are there any issues with it when it is plugged in? I would think that with it not working when unplugged, I'd replace the battery first. Of course make sure you follow Apple's 5R first. Good Luck...
