Touch screen response only when device handheld

I replaced iPhone lcd complete set with digitiser Bazel frame front camera full assembly .now touch panel works fine but only when iphone in handheld .no response when device placed on bed or table .Some vertical lines visible in day time. When startup apple logo is not so black back lights also lit during boot up

"Vertical lines"

This indicates either the screen isn't connected correctly, is damaged, or the connector on the logic board is damaged.

Try reconnecting the screen, if the issue still persists, try another screen. :-)
