My friend gave me a blu hd 6.0 phone and didnt want it cause when she ordered it the screen had a crack at the top after she gave it to me i charged it and the botton half doesnt work it comes on fine the picture shows up it jist doent work to ulock or touch apps

Hi Rachel, There are 2 parts to your screen...the LCD (Which displays the Picture) and the Digitizer (What responds to touch)...You have a phone with a cracked "Digitizer" and good LCD.
Search videos on Digitizer replacement for your model and then purchase a new Digitizer online (Ebay, Amazon, etc...) and then you could either try the replacement yourself if you feel like you could or have it done at a repair shop. Doing it yourself will save you $ on the repair but could cost you more in the long run if you end up damaging the LCD during the process. It is a fairly difficult repair for the Novice.
