If that's the case, I would but one off ebay and save the broken one for parts.

If you press down the right trigger and blow into the the right bumper in the gap may 10 times then it somehow fixes it.

I had that happen, took the controller apart and found the bumpers were still intact. I think what happened was the metal bracket that holds the button in had become bent. What I did was apply a layer of super glue along the part of the bumper that makes contact with the button to give it a bit more length so it can fully press the button

tried some similar thing, now superglue is stuck inside the button on the board, fml

by

@asimdaud how did you do that

by

I don’t remember what I did 5 years ago to fix it but with super glue you have to be careful as it messed up the button

a couple months ago I had bought an Xbox elite series 2 remote for my birthday and was acting just fine. A couple weeks later my left bumper has become completely unresponsive when I press down on it. Anyone know how to fix this? I really don’t want to spend out on a new remote when the rest of it is perfectly fine :(

i just blow into mine, still acts up from time to time. Also check for gunk in between the bumper and trigger, if there is any, clean it out with a tooth pick or pencil
