Before doing any other method to fix this issue try soft reset:

  • From the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
  • Tap Settings, and then tap Security and Privacy.
  • Tap Security Wipe, then enter "BlackBerry" in the box provided and tap Delete Data.
  • The device will now be reset back to factory settings.
