Mac is just turning on when holding the power button for about 10 secs

I´m having some issues with my MBP mid 2012, it won't turn on unless I hold the power button for about 10 seconds.

I already tried safe mode, SMC, PRAM and nothing seems to be working. I even installed the latest OS available but nothing happened (it didn't even changed anything in the system)

I also tried factory reset and once completed absolutely nothing changed. All my programs are there and it looks like it was just off and then on.

I took the cover off and unplugged the battery but nothing happened.

I'm currently using Yosemite

Please help!!! Thanks!

Do you have a 13" or 15" Hopefully I picked the correct one here (top right)

Did you spill something into the keyboard or trackpad?

Hey Dan it's the 13" and I didn't spill anything into it. I've been really careful.

It could be that it's only starting up when the SMC is being bypassed due to a sensor issue of some sort. If you run a program such as TG Pro, are there any sensor issues that show?

@eddy7 what is the history of this

Mac? Was it previously liquid damaged? Did this happen spontaneously? Was there a previous repair attempt? Any history even old will help. I just fixed a MacBook Air that was liquid damaged 1 year and failed just now.

Hey @Sam Freeman, I ran TG Pro and I have no errors. The only thing I noticed that is too hot is probably the Memory slot? it says 80 to 81 °C not sure if it should be that way but it stays there and the rest of them are in about 30° C or less. Everything shows in green though. The average Computer is 31 °C and the CPU is 34°C.

See if shorting out the power pads boots up your system. You should only need to short the pads for a moment (Red circle.

If it works reliably then the issue is within the upper case or the ribbon cable. Review Step11 in this IFIXIT guide: MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2012 Logic Board Replacement. Do be careful! the slide can easily be broken and you might find using a small piece of electricians tape folded over can help in pulling out the ribbon as well as pulling it back in.

OK, lets backup here a moment...

You stated the system would turn on but does it stay on? If This is not the case then we are going down the wrong path here. If the system won't stay running then we need to review the power systems.

Using the battery test button are you seeing all of the LED's lit? If not are you only seeing the first LED?

When you plug in the MagSafe charger is the MagSafe connector LED a bright Amber or Green?

It didn't work Dan, just like with the power button it tries to turn on and I can see the light for 1 second and then it stops. I tried the step 11 also and it didn't fix it. As soon as I press the power button for 1 second the light turns on but then it goes off immediately.
