Safehax is giving me a black screen?

Okay so my 3d's won't work without a SD card with out all the files downloaded from 3ds.guide so now I'm just like f- it why not just do it again. The thing is now safehax just giving me a black screen. What's wrong with it? What can I do to fix it?

You need to follow the guide very carefully. It had a warning to NOT to close the screen. If you do that, the system will go to sleep mode. I see that you're installing custom firmware on it, so if you did close the screen during this process, it probably bricked. Once this happens, there's no way out except for sending it out to Nintendo.

The only other answer here says that you may have bricked it by closing the lid. Unless you were on the 2.1.0 downgrade step, this is rather unlikely, at least from what I can tell.

You probably wanna ask that question to the good folks at GBATemp what the issue is, as they're likely to know.

Unless you get a bootrom error, I would highly advise not sending Nintendo your 3DS if you have hax on it.

Everyone else here is incorrect, you can only brick new 3ds by closing the lid. If you have another sd, try putting all the files on it (new downloads so they are for sure working) and then booting again. That should work. You can also look at the troubleshooting on Plialect's guide.
