I have a Skil 4200 H1 jigsaw which I've had a number of years and it has worked well.
The brushes need replacing but I cannot find anywhere that recognizes the model number. Can anyone Help me ? Would the Carbon brushes for the Skil 4235 be compatible ? If have to replace the jigsaw then I will but I am used to it's feel. It's like an old friend so desperately needed assistance.

According to this website the brushes (ref # 10) are unavailable, however this is the part # for the brushes
2 610 376 874
According to this website the part number is obsolete and has been replaced by the following part # 2 610 967 197 and the part is available from them.
Alternatively if you search online using the new part number only you will get other suppliers of the part that might suit you better. Here is just one example. It is not a recommendation to use the seller, it is shown to give an idea of the price.
