I didn't do it LOL by my iPod keeps freezing, Why?

I did the in and out of the headphone jack and now somehow my ipod just keeps on freezing and won't let me do anything to it. I can't even use the touch screen. I held the power on/off button and the reset (the round one on the bottom) for a few seconds and the ipod went off. I got it turn back on again and poof nothing worked and I didn't even open the ipod LOL (was going to try) HELP!

Lindy, you are to funny :) did you try this yet...

1. Hold down the hold button at the top left of the touch and the home button at the center front of the device.

2. Continue holding them even after the slider to turn off the touch appears. Do not let go at this point.

3. A few seconds after this, the screen will flash and go black. At this point, the touch has been rebooted.

4. Hold down the hold button at the top left until the screen lights up again and the Apple logo appears.

5. Release the button and let the iPod touch finish booting up and you’ll be ready to rock again.

Let us know :)

Thank You, Thank You, Thank Youuuuuu. . . but, now the ipod keeps on rebooting. uh, why? :(

you may just have to try to restore it. Hope you have all your stuff on iTunes. you can try this iPod Touch won't stop rebooting or this

put the device in whats called DFU mode.link on how to do so here

http://limitededitioniphone.com/how-to-p...

it says iphone but the same applies to ipod touch.

then restore it in itunes when in dfu mode or this Once bootup your iPod on Disk Mode, you should be able to Open Disk Utility and then run "Repair Disk", once it is repaired you can start using it, otherwise if it can not be fixed then the only solution is to reformat the ipod using Disk Utility, then it will be recognized by your itunes, which then you'll use to reinstall/restore ipod software.

Dillon, you are looking at a question that has not been revisited for a year. It looks like it was resolved for the person that asked. It is best if you ask your own question and give as much detail as possible. Tell us what happened and what you have tried to fix it. here is the link for the question http://www.ifixit.com/Answers/Ask/iPod+T...
