Screen won't turn on when all 4 screen cables are connected.

Hello,

I tried to replace my home button by following a guide. But i got into a problem when getting the screen back on. When i am trying to get all the 4 screen cables connected it won't turn on, but when i have 3 cables connected except the home button extension flex connector foam my screen works. Does anyone know anything about this?

I have heard of this problem. I still don't know why. I believe you need to replace the home button cable on the back of the shield

Well they just get damaged either from damaging the screen very badly (popped off for example) or not pryed off properly.

Yeah, I guess that's the most reasonable answer. @benjamen50 ive heard of these things, and have tried to re create them, but I can't. Even with a damaged home button cable like this. It still doesn't create the problem

I have had these problems a few times also and when i replace the backplate and extension flex cable the iphone works normal. Just replace the extension home button cable and backplate.
