Camera was thrown ...how to tell what's wrong with it?

My (I don't know what to call him) has brain cancer. It causes him to have anger issues. He threw the camera into the wall. It literally made a nest cam shape hole. I plug it in and it doesn't power on. The camera is slightly crooked inside the body. I want to take it apart and have looked at the ways to do so but how do I determine what's not working? I could put it all back together but if it doesn't work still where do I go from there?

@erica14 , Erica, I am very sorry that you are having this problem. Probably at best you can take the camera apart and look for broken/loose wires and loose components and try to re attach by soldering if that is what is found to be the issue. It does take considerable skill when solder on a board, to be careful not to damage other components. If not equipped to do this, perhaps have a friend/family member that could help with repair. If not wanting to attempt the repair, have a good local electronics/computer repair shop have a look, diagnose and estimate repair. Below is a disassembly link that may help. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
