forever blinking in 3 fast 1 pause sequence

Hello!

my Krups Nespresso Inissia XN 100 machine after heating up keeps blinking with the following sequence: 3 fast 1 pause. The assistance said that there is an error in the electronics. Any suggestions rather than getting rid it of my poor Nespresso?

Just spoke with Nespresso customer service: "The Essenza Mini will NOT work with an inverter." Oh well, back to the store... :(

by

1. Switch off at wall.

2. Turn on at wall.

3. Hold in the lungo(large cup) in for 5 seconds.

4. Wait for device to heat up.

5. If the lights do not flash then congratulations!

6. Enjoy coffee.

@leoborni see if it is stuck in descale mode. Press both green lights for 3 secs and it should flashing at a slower rate. When they stop flashing it should be good to go.

I’m my case it was the water container had leaked water into the hole underneath, I had descaled using vinegar then done all the cleaning and flushing only for it to start flashing continuously. I removed the water container dried it out and now all fine again, coffee back. It was in the hole not in the round gully that the container sits in. It worked for me hope it works for you.

In my case, (after speaking with support) I was told the coffee maker doe not work with power from an inverter, like in a motor home.

Oh well. Returned it.

I just had the same problem, both lights would keep flashing 3 times. Tried pressing them both, pressing one,….

Nothing would work. Switched it off at the wall, waited 5 seconds and switched it back on…

Works perfectly now

Also mine is a Krups Essenza Mini. And not Inissia.

Unplug your Essenza mini, then plug back in and press/hold lungo (Big cup) button for 5-7 seconds, the espresso (small cup) button will flash very fast 3 times, you have reset your machine and you are good to go. I just did it right now on a customer's machine after trying other solutions.
