a few more details would help us to help you. which generation iphone is it? what have you broken/dislodged?

Thanks for your reply. It is an iphone 4. The dislodged part is the connector block on the logic board that the battery terminal attaches to. The block has four soldered terminals on the side furthest from the battery itself. The two outside connections have broken cleanly, leaving solder behind. The middle two have pulled the solder, together with the surface material of the logic board itself, away. On these two there are extremely thin wires showing that have broken away. I am not sure if it is possible but I would love to get this solderd back on somehow.

This answer was originally to another question.

I did this back when I first started soldering on an IBM motherboard Security chip. I never was able to fix it but you can attempt to either scrap the traces it normally connected to and attempt to solder to them, or follow the traces to where it meets up with something and hope the something is large enough to be easy to solder to. Very good eyes and soldering skills are required, also a multimeter can help a lot also.

Good Luck!

Worse case, throw it on ebay, if I saw one on there for cheap enough I would buy it just to try :D.

This answer was originally to another question.

I have attempted to resolder the battery connect on, and out of the 4 gold tabs on the back, ive managed to knock one off and loose it... Does this mean the logic board is completely f'd now or can I just tack it to where the gold thing use to be ?

The only problem I had is the solder was not staying melted with a soldering iron. Maybe a hot air gun would be better, or low melt alloy...
